They are two straight needles with pointed ends that are connected to each other with a plastic wire. They are made of aluminum, bronze or bamboo. With them you can knit circular accessories, such as hats, however due to their size you can even knit blankets, much better than the classic, straight needles.
One of the main advantages is that you can do all the finishes, ie necks and edging, without seams. As the movement is opposite to that on straight needles, they are more relaxing for the hands. Knitting only good points, the result is jersey knitting, as if we knitted with the classic needles one good and one upside down. They are also available in a set of circular alternating needles, which include all sizes of circular needles and one or two wires.
